Why the NFL Protest Is a Massive and Insulting Failure
by freemindfade ini think everyone has the freedom to protest, they also have freedom of speech, these are two fundamental things that make america amazing.
but thinking rationally about what is going on with the nfl, therefore, i have an unfavorable opinion of the league, and the players, not their right to free speech, but their motive and execution of it.
constitutional freedom to protest ends at the workplace door too.

Well I see it as a man right to' give honor where honor is due' in his own intellect and world view and refuses to bow or honor a particular government which he is under, and not 'leftist nonsense',, just human reasoning on a particular subject from his prospective, and not some leftist inspired propaganda.

I don't know just ill treatment of black in general by police and courts? Whatever it is I'm all for this benevolent expression of protest and applaud the man right or wrong. It is a non violent act period and if it offend some patriotic American so much the better for getting your point across. And I happened to think discussion about this topic was worth my attention.
As far as government censorship Trump seems to think that is the way to go now that he became president. Which seems to represent his cluelessness as to some basic freedoms of the constitution which he has sworn to protect under oath.

I feel that protest of government policies a good thing when it can be done in a peaceful way and the government don't step in with brutal measures for the protesters.
Freedom of expression without government sensorship being imposed is a good thing.
As to whether this brings results is anybody's guess I think in some rather small way this does produce more sensitivity in those that make and enforce the laws, which is a very good thing.

I'm not a great anthem standing sentimentalist, and I think the 1st amendment plays a major role in this scenario.

US violent crimes and murders rose in 2016, the FBI says
by Simon ini can't remember the exact topic but i think a few people predicted the same thing - that the blm movement would cause an increase in violent deaths of young black men, ultimately doing more harm than good.. and so it has: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41391333.
an 8.6% rise in the homicide rate is pretty appalling by any standard unless it started at very low levels, which we know it didn't.. this is why i object to movements based on false premises and invented media lies / selective coverage.
the people who suffer the most are not the ones marching in the streets.

How about solar activity as in solar flares and sun spots? Could such an increase be correlated with these happenings?

DPRK Asserts that USA has Declared War
by cofty innorth korea has taken president trump's recent statements as a declaration of war.
pyongyang reserves the right to shoot down american planes even if they are not inside their airspace.. i listened to trump's speech to the un with dismay.
it demonstrated a total lack of understanding of his enemy and the inevitable consequences of inflicting personal insults on kim jong-un.

I can see where the North Korean's would consider such inflammatory speach by US president Trump as highly insulting and see it as a declaration of war.
Trump clearly has no idea what and who he is dealing with, North Korea in his estimation is a sore loser, and in need of some serious ass kicking, and faults previous administration for not taking firmer actions against NK. Trump is drunk with destructive power and is making it clear to the world that he is ready to unleash it.

I think Trump blundered big time in his talk to the UN and displayed before the whole world what a ego-centric bully he really is. To threaten the country of North Korea with destruction before the whole world while he's in reach of a button unleashing untold suffering for humanity is not good.
I think Kim was right Trump is a Dotard.

Yeah I seen cognitive dissonance in these children, it was a surprise question for a typical indoctrinated youth, that would get a certain expected response. It a country where a ruling family personality heavily impact everyone. One should expect that any information they receive about the outside world very censored.
So an US or Them attitude towards the US and perhaps the rest of the world should be expected, which is not very good for the world and surrounding countries.

The Watchtower writers(maybe all of them) must have been on pins and needles trying to get this one ready for the averaged indoctrinated Tom Dick and Harry.
I'm mean there is so much there to cause "conscious dissonance" that a person would have to be severely 'compartmentalized' not to wince in pain writing the utter bull shit. The whole place at head quarters must be a boiling pot of confusion with the writing of these articles.
Talk about the blind leading the blind,,, this must the best example in recorded human history.
